Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Nurses to provide exceptional care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. As a Pet Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of various animals, including dogs, cats, and other small pets. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle different breeds and temperaments with care.

Duties

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the pets in your care.
• Engage in playtime and exercise to promote physical health and mental stimulation.
• Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to pet owners promptly.
• Maintain open communication with pet owners regarding their pet's needs and any relevant updates.
• Handle various breeds and sizes of dogs with confidence and skill.
• Provide basic grooming services such as brushing or bathing when necessary.
• Assist medication administration as required by the owner and veterinarian.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet care or related fields such as dog training or veterinary assistance.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple pets at once while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Experience as a veterinary technician.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is crucial.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of pet owners is highly desirable.
