Construction Laborer For Grade Crew

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer for a grade crew you will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are eager to learn new skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment necessary for construction projects.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety on-site.
• Help with the assisting foreman or equipment operators on a daily basis.
• Participate in site clean-up activities at the end of each workday.
• Read measuring tapes and grade rods for elevation.
• Physically fit and able to be on feet for long periods of time.
• Show up on time and with good attitude.
• Dependable transportation to and from job site.

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
