What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at J & J Chapman Construction?
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping an eye on the job site and making sure everything is running as it should.
- Keeping in touch with customers and giving them updates throughout the project.
- Overseeing the build from start to finish and making sure everything meets our quality standards.
- Ordering materials and making sure they get to the site when needed.
- Working with subcontractors and crews to keep things moving on schedule.
- Keeping the site clean and safe for everyone involved.
- Letting the office know when to invoice and collecting payments when necessary.
- Making sure any important notes, changes, or project details are recorded and shared with the right people.
- Meeting with customers in person to go over their project.
- Checking in with customers after the job is done to make sure they’re happy with the work performed.
What We're Looking For:
- Someone with at least 5 years experience in construction, and at least 2 years experience as a foreman, running job sites, and/or managing construction projects.
- Someone with experience running job sites and managing construction projects.
- A good communicator who can keep everyone on the same page.
- Someone who’s organized and can juggle multiple tasks at once.
- A solid understanding of how construction projects come together.
- A valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
