Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a US Director, Physician Programs to join our Abiomed team and to be located on the East Coast in the United States.
The US Director, Physician Programs is a key leadership role within Healthcare Solutions, responsible for developing and managing a high-performing team, building strategic relationships with healthcare executives, and building MCS programs within and across IDNs to drive growth at targeted accounts. This role will establish and execute account strategies to align internal resources with customer needs, ensuring integration of solutions that support both the company’s and customers' long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Recruit, develop and maintain a team of highly functional leaders, setting direction, and overseeing performance to drive team success within Healthcare Solutions.
- Ensure all activities adhere to the highest standards of integrity and comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Cultivate sustainable relationships with healthcare executives, clinicians, and other key decision-makers to support account growth.
- Coordinate with internal resources to address customer needs and facilitate the successful adoption of solutions.
- Lead the development of comprehensive account plans for healthcare systems and IDNs.
- Analyze customer data, assess needs, and work with field sales and other commercial resources to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
Experience : 15 years in customer facing roles in medical device or healthcare related industry; 5 years in people leadership with a proven track record of success.
Travel : Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%).
Prior experience creating and implementing strategic programs within and across health care systems.
Strong ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and align cross functional resources.
Mastery of cardiac anatomy and clinical data.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across organizational levels.

This position holds decision-making authority for hiring, pay adjustments, promotions, performance reviews, and budget recommendations.
