Quality Process Lead - WMS Distribution

This position will support a flawless brand-new Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, on time, on cost and on scope for the MedTech Memphis Logistics Center (MLC) and our Satellite Distribution Center (SDC) network attached to strategic MAKE sites. The replacement of the WMS is a key strategic Initiative within the NA HMD area that will upgrade aging infrastructure platforms to secure our business today and become the cornerstone for future transformation of our distribution capabilities for the customer. This project will lay the groundwork for the development and deployment of key capabilities (People, Process, Automation, and Technology) to improve efficiency and effectiveness, whilst keeping our customer’s needs central to what we do. This project will lay the foundation for the Distribution Global Template for Tier 1 DCs.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain in partnership with the Quality and Operations, and the 3PL teams a Concept of Operations on how the DC will use key systems including but not limited to the WMS, WCS, LMS among other ancillary systems.

Ensure all WMS processes and related functionality meet the Concept of Quality and Operations and all applicable Johnson & Johnson Quality, GxP, IAPP, and security guidelines.

Lead multi-functional teams to ensure validation of systems in accordance with current GxP, IAPP, and security guidelines, processes and requirements.

Act as SME for Quality to define future functionality and enhancements.

Partner with Internal and External customers to define critical test scenarios and validation criteria to ensure perfect deliveries and uninterrupted systems availability.

Effectively communicate across multi-functional teams with both internal and external partners and leadership, status for key initiatives, project landmarks, risks and opportunities

Manage risks reliably, identify potential problems early, and assist in resolving or raising issues as appropriate.

Coordinate response to tactical support issues affecting the systems landscape to minimize impact and enhance service to our patients.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education : Minimum of a Bachelor’s and / or equivalent University degree required; focused degree specifically in Logistics, Supply Chain, Systems or Business preferred

Experience and Skills :

Required :

Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional work experience

Distribution Quality validation experience

Experience in a highly regulated environment

Strong problem-solving, communication and influencing skills.

Proven track record working in a multi-functional team environment.

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a multi-layered environment.

Attention to detail and a drive for ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred :

E2E supply chain knowledge and experience, such as operations, network planning and / or systems implementations

Experience in SAP Order To Cash or ERP order management processes

Proficient in SQL

Agile or Water Fall SDLC Methodology knowledge and experience.

Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS methodologies knowledge and / or certifications.

Medical Device sector / industry experience

Other :

May require up to 10% domestic and / or international travel to other locations and sites
