The 2025 Summer Intern Position will support multiple optimization projects across Innovative Medicine R&D ultimately helping to transform the way R&D operates. The candidate will be exposed to project management skills, strategies to optimize business operations, and cost saving tactics. The candidate will learn about the pharmaceutical R&D processes, communication and leadership skills, managing cross functional, continuous improvement, and stakeholder management in this role.
Responsibilities :
Project Leadership : You will support coordinating and overseeing various projects within R&D, ensuring that they are executed successfully and within the given timelines. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and managing any potential risks or issues that may arise.
Operations Strategy : You will support developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the business operations. This includes identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and ensuring that operational efficiency is maximized.
Budgeting, Resource and Timeline : You will support managing budgets and allocating resources effectively to support the projects and operations within the Pharmaceutical R&D department. This includes making budget recommendations, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve project goals.
Qualifications : Required :
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now, or in the future (ex. H1-B). Students currently in the country on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT require future sponsorship for long-term employment.
Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the Intern assignment pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Pursuing studies in Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Pharmacology, Engineering is required.
By start date, candidate must be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above.
Minimum GPA of 3.6 or higher
Availability to work full-time (40 hours / week) during the internship / co-op.
Ability to provide transportation to / from the work location.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Preferred :
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred
Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
Must be a self-starter works independently while contributing to the team goals
Proven leadership / participation with campus programs and / or community service activities is desired

Additional Description for Pay Transparency :
Payrates : The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $25.00 / hr, Junior $26.00 / hr, Senior $28.00 / hr, Master’s degree $33.00 / hr. Ineligibility for severance. This job posting is anticipated to close on 3 / 10 / 2025. The Company may however extend this time-period, in which case the posting will remain available on to accept additional applications.
