Building and Ground Yard Attendant

Yard attendant is responsible for maintaining the equipment and grounds at a ready-mix concrete plant. Job duties would include:

  • Operating heavy machinery such as:
    • Highlift
    • Forklift
    • Boom trucks
    • Forming Concrete Blocks
    • Stropping concrete blocks
    • Loading block on trucks
    • Loading stone and sand in trucks
  • Ground maintenance:
    • Mowing
    • Weeding
    • Cleaning spills
  • Assisting Customers
