TITLE : Customer Service Representative
DEPARTMENT : Sales Department
REPORTS TO : Customer Service Manager
SHIFT : Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday
Hours : 9 : 00a.m.-5 : 00p.m.
POSITION SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for supporting all Sales Representatives and supporting customer needs.
REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Suggestive selling to current customers.
- Accurately input sales orders.
- Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
- Take customer messages and orders appropriately. This will involve escalating calls and / or issues to the appropriate individual or department.
- Attend to will-call customers.
- Making telephone calls to customers and following customer call sheets.
- Update changes to customer order guides (in Seasoft) under the supervision or request of the account manager.
- Updating customer price sheets as scheduled or as needed.
- Maintain accurate customer price list in Seasoft.
- Compile sales data.
- Develop product knowledge and market information to continually increase knowledge of the industry and pricing rationale.
