Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering product to customers on assigned routes. The successful candidate will possess a valid Maryland driver's license, with less than 3 points, and 3-5 years of delivery driving experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the vehicle in a safe and defensive manner.
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safe driving conditions and properly working refrigeration.
- Complete refrigeration logs as required.
- Notify supervisors of any vehicle issues.
- Deliver products to customers on time, ensuring the cargo is properly loaded and secured.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Maryland driver's license with less than 3 points.
- 3-5 years of delivery driving experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
- The employee will work mostly inside a truck cab, with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid, hot, cold, and snow conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment can range from quiet to loud.
