Job Overview - Gutter Installer

We repair, install, and maintain Seamless Gutters, Gutter Guard, Specialty Gutters and many other services.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or certification from a technical school may be required
• Experience working on roofs and handling power tools would be advantageous
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strength and a good sense of balance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years related experience required

Responsibilities

• Great focus on the installation, maintenance, and repair of gutters
• Must be able to work on both residential houses and commercial businesses
• Comfortable working on ladders
• Handy with a variety of power tools such as hammers, drills and saws
• Inspecting sites and removing hazardous items
• Using a spirit level to ensure accuracy
• Drilling holes to fit screws and mount brackets
• Caulking all gaps and joints
• Sourcing appropriate replacement gutters when required
• Fabricating all parts required for the job
• Keeping strong and fit enough to perform duties
• Maintaining a clean, neat and professional workspace
• Maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance

Payrate: $20.00-$30.00/hour

Job Summary:

Installation, maintenance, and repair of gutters. General knowledge and experience working on both Residential and Construction is a plus since we perform work on both.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Comfortable carrying and safely working on ladders.
• Proficient working with a variety of power tools such as hammers, drills and saws.
• Inspecting sites and removing or working around other hazardous items.
• Caulking and sealing metal, hardie, and other products.
• Repairing Gutters and other exterior siding products.
• Fabricating gutters with a seamless gutter machine as well as fabrication of other metal with the use of hand tools and/or metal breaks.
• Keep in good health to perform daily duties like climbing, lifting, carrying, etc.
• Maintaining a clean, neat and professional appearance of self and work site.
• Fabrication of fascia metal and siding install is a plus, but not a requirement.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience working on construction sites, roofs and handling power tools.
• Must be a self starter and willing to make calculated decisions on the spot when problems arise.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strength and a good sense of balance.

Must have a Valid US Drivers License.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
