POSITION SUMMARY: Under the leadership of the Plant Manager, the Office Assistant/Scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all departments ensuring to follow the guidelines set forth in the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The Office Assistant/Scheduler will maintain strong relationships and ensure timely orders of all office supplies and materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Collaborates with internal teams to forecast demand and develop weekly schedules accordingly.
· Handles daily call-ins and promptly adjusts schedules as needed.
· Trains to all new supervisors/ leaders on scheduling compliance.
· Monitors inventory levels for all necessary office supplies.
· Completes all employee scheduling.
· Orders all the non-inventory items, including but not limited to sanitary and safety items.
· Monitors, tracks, and ensures fulfillment of inventory for assigned items and vendors.
· Verifies all purchase orders to ensure delivery, quantity, and pricing.
· Develops and maintains positive relationships with all staff, leaders, vendors, and suppliers.
· Provides back-up support to the plant Buyers.
· Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the leadership team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Associate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, preferred.
· Minimum of two years’ experience as a Scheduler or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.

Pay: $18.63 - $22.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
