Job Duties:
- Assists in providing proper packaging material to packaging lines.
- Transfers finished product and/or inspected rework product into secondary and primary containers in the proper number and manner.
- Verify that secondary and primary containers are coded per customer specifications.
- Remove any empty cartons from line flow.
- Complies with all safety regulations.
- Assists in keeping carton former stocked with cartons.
- Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to shift supervisor.
- Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.
- Performs all other related work as assigned.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Personal hygiene must meet company and government sanitation requirements.
- Abide by safety rules as outlined in company policies and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- NO JEWELERY ALLOWED ON THE PLANT FLOOR INCLUDING NOSE AND EAR PIERCINGS.
