Our Client in Atlantic City, New Jersey is seeking Legal Assistants for their office. These are DIRECT HIRE, IN-PERSON positions, offering $25.00-$29.00 per hour based on experience.

Candidates MUST have Litigation experience in any of the following areas of law:
- Health Care Law
- Casino & Hospitality Industry Defense Litigation
- Insurance Defense Litigation
- Commercial General Litigation
- Construction Defect Litigation
- Cannabis Law and Land Use
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Providing confidential administrative support to attorneys
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries
- Performing typing assignments and transcribing dictation involving legal terminology
- Establishing, maintaining, processing, and overseeing files, correspondence, databases, records, certificates, and/or other documents
- Scheduling appointments and performing other duties related to maintaining attorney schedules
- Possibly scheduling and coordinating meetings and conferences, arranging conferences and teleconferences
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year prior experience preferred
- Knowledge of standard office procedures, computers, and related software applications
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to create, compose and edit written communications and materials
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of clients in a diverse community
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with NetDocs, a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
