Summary: Responsible for the repair, overhaul and preventative maintenance of slot machines to the component level to ensure optimal operation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Clean, adjust and repair gaming machines, adjust monitor and troubleshoot as necessary for repair or replacement of components.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine game functionality.
- Replace power supplies, coin units, bill readers, printers, reel units, hoppers, handles, and pull CPU boards.
- Perform complete game conversions.
- Change dip switches.
- Maintains parts and supply cabinets for field personnel.
- Maintains inventory control on all parts.
- Maintains equipment compliance with customer notifications from game vendors.
- Shops all high dollar purchases quarterly to maintain lowest possible costs.
- Maintains safe working equipment and keeps work areas clean.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous component level repair experience on gaming equipment.
- Previous experience performing same or similar job duties.
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working calmly and professionally in busy work environment while effectively multi-tasking.
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience performing job functions in a timely manner with minimal and/or no supervision.
- Ability to operate computer equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:
- Walk, stand, sit, climb or stoop more than 75% of the time.
- Use of tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity more than 75% of the time.
- Ability to operate hand truck to move 400 lb. slot machine.
- Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying/bending/kneeling/climbing/ and standing more than 75% of the time.
- Using chemical agents (up to approx. 25% of the time).
- Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
- Hearing, vision (including peripheral), speech and literacy (critical)
- Ability to communicate vocally utilizing portable radios and telephones (critical).
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
- Occasionally drives motor vehicle.
