Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The CPA will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to support business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct financial audits and identify areas for process improvement or cost savings.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to assist with business decisions and long-term planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and statements.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Advise on strategies to reduce tax liabilities and improve financial health.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry trends.
- Assist with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
