We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Estimator with expertise in earthwork and underground utilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully estimating projects from conception to completion, with a focus on self-performing earthwork and wet/underground utility work. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a dedication to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Bidding and Execution: - Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team. - Oversee all aspects of project bidding execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
2. Client Relations: - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. - Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges effectively to clients and stakeholders. - Cultivate long-term client relationships through exceptional service and project delivery.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on excavation/ earthworks and underground utilities.- Proven track record of successfully bidding large-scale projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment related to mass excavation and underground utilities.- Experience with self-performing project work and managing subcontractors.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
