We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our defense team at [Company Name]. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including initial case assessment, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Handle discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
- Provide strategic advice to clients regarding case strengths, weaknesses, and potential outcomes.
- Negotiate settlements and manage alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial appearances.
- Attend court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials as needed.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards of legal practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in [Insert State(s)].
- Preferred Experience: 2 years of civil litigation experience, specifically on the defense side.
