Company Overview : Our client, a nonprofit organization in Cherry Creek, is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant for 2-months. This position will help keep work spaces (such as the kitchen) clean, stocked, and organized, cover the security desk lunch breaks, and help with administrative tasks / projects as assigned.
Duties :
Empty the dishwasher in the morning / run it at night
Stock the fridge with soda and stock the coffee spinner
Check the copier for paper / refill
Check / tidy the conference rooms / work-copy area
Distribute the mail between the 3 companies (with assistance from supervisor)
Cover the front desk for breaks
Take kitchen / office supply inventory
Assist other departments with projects
Prep for conferences / events
Set up conference rooms for meetings
Help with premiums inventory (magazines, branded items, conference supplies etc.)
Research projects
Help with mailings
Assist with ordering lunches
Credit card reconciliation monthly
Scan / upload documents to grant making software
Filing
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree is strongly preferred
1 years’ experience in an office setting
Proficient In Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
High ethical standards, maintain high level of confidentially
Handles themselves in a professional manner
Excellent work ethic and positive disposition
Excellent judgment in terms of problem solving and knowing when to ask for direction versus when to work independently; ability to think “outside of the box”
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in organization
Ability to work effectively with ethnic, cultural and diverse populations
Dress Code : Business casual (nice jeans on Friday)
Parking : Free underground parking garage
