Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000/year (based on experience) with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, etc.
Overview: Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking an IT Manager to manage day-to-day operations of the IT Department ensuring proper functionality of the company’s computer systems, networks, infrastructure, website, helpdesk, and telecommunications. This position supports around 100 total users in the company and has direct reports. Occasional travel required (est. 1x/month). This position is 100% in-office and has a flexible working schedule. To be successful in this position you must possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Some duties include:
- Budget and strategic plan for implementation of any software, hardware, or equipment
- Maintenance of IT equipment, hardware, software, and phones
- Oversee IT Department staff ensuring assigned duties are completed efficiently and assisting as needed
- Oversee the company website
- Main POC for outside technical partners and vendors to ensure operating system is maintained
- Implement and maintain company's reporting program and integration of computer systems with manufacturing equipment
- Select and negotiate with vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or similar
- 5 years’ experience in management/staff supervisory in a similar technical role
- 5 years’ experience with ERP systems, Oracle strongly desired
- Experience managing EDI strongly desired
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of current hardware and software technology
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to individuals at all levels in the organization
- Technical expertise and computer knowledge
- Leadership skills, analytical skills, and good judgement required
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solve related to IT
- Initiative and interpersonal skills to ensure work is accomplished while maintaining good employee relations
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screening
- Ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to occasionally travel
