Duties

• Install and configure cable systems for television, internet, and telephone services.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing cable installations.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete installations efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
• Perform network installation tasks including setting up Cisco routers.
• Use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

• Proficient in electrical and mechanical knowledge related to cable installation.
• Experience with field service operations in telecommunications.
• Familiarity with Cisco routers and network installation processes.
• Strong ability to use hand tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Knowledge of telephone systems and their integration with cable services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
