Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse procedures and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, inventory management, and receiving.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to move products within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels ensuring accurate tracking of stock.
- Perform picking and packing of orders for shipment, ensuring all packages are prepared according to company standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and organizing products in designated storage areas.
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including indoor/outdoor forklifts.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes and best practices.
- Ability to effectively pick and pack products for shipment with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
- Bilingual applicants (English and Spanish) are preferred, but not required.
