What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at J&M Laser Engraving Inc.?
The position is for Monday through Thursday 6:00 am - 4 30 pm or Monday through Thursday 12-430pm parttime.
The Operator is responsible for laser etching under the instruction of the President/Operations Manager. Must also follow company-wide guidelines for manufacturing, production, documentation, quality, safety, and company-wide processes for improvements, etc.
The position requires the following skills/competencies:
- Work independently to manage projects, meet timelines and deadlines; and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
- follow safety requirements established by J&M Laser
- perform laser etching
- Communicate effectively with the administration and the President/Operations Manager
- operate the Instrument Software

Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to laser etch according to the instructions
- Perform laser marking inspection
- Complete necessary paperwork (DHR)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
