Summary

As an Installation Technician at J&M Pool Services LLC, you will be integral to our mission of delivering exceptional pool services. This role involves hands-on installation and repair work that ensures our customers enjoy their swimming pools to the fullest.

Responsibilities

• Individual will be expected to use company software to create estimates and explain repair vs. replacement options to clients
• Follow routes and provide in route and follow up calls
• Communication with office and clients on repair vs replacement options
• Technician will close out sales with the help of the office to ensure proper follow up and completion
• Technicians will be responsible for closing out jobs with proper billing accuracy.
• Technician will work directly with service team to continue to enhance procedures associated with tools, checklist, strategies, and inventory control
• Job types include Equipment Service Checks, Filter Cleanings, Diagnostics, Completion of Sold equipment jobs from other departments and/or sales reps, Pool Openings and Closings, Winter Cover Maintenance, Diagnostic and repair of all pool equipment (Automation, Lights, Pumps, Filters, Sanitizers, Blowers, Etc.)

Qualifications

• Expertise/ Experience include a minimum of 2 years in repairing & replacing swimming pool equipment.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic requirements associated with all aspects of swimming pool repair.
• Familiar with the big three manufacturers (Hayward, Pentair, Fluidra) and an understanding of troubleshooting and repair associated with all products associated with each manufacture
• Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment
• Strong communication skills associated with working with clients, office, other departments, and team members
• Strong ability to follow up and see things through to completion
• Ensure all work meets J&M Values

• Responsible for keeping up with tools, truck cleanliness, and vehicle inventory
• Values should be represented in uniform as well how technician carries himself.

Requirements

• Clean driving record and valid drivers license
• Clean background check
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
