Reports To: Production/Plant Manager, Gwinner, ND

Schedule: Monday – Friday, approximately 3 hours per day, flexible schedule

As J&M Printing continues to grow, the role of a Cleaning Associate is critical to keeping out facility clean. This position will ensure that all printed materials

Essential Functions: The essential functions of the Cleaning Associate include but are not limited to the following major responsibilities performed.

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas of the facility, including production floors, offices, hallways, restrooms, and break rooms.

· Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.

· Clean windows, walls, and doors, ensuring all surfaces are free of dirt and dust.

· Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

· Sweep and mop floors in both office and production areas, focusing on high-traffic zones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Report any unsafe conditions, damages, or hazards within the facility to management.

· Attention to Detail: Thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

· Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Knowledge of Cleaning Equipment: Familiarity with using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and floor buffers.

· Safety Awareness: Understanding of proper cleaning chemical handling and safety procedures.

· Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods, as well as carry cleaning supplies and equipment.

· Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet cleaning schedules.

· Part-time position with flexible hours, typically 15-30 hours per week.

· May involve evening, early morning, or weekend shifts.

· Work in a manufacturing facility, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and industrial machinery.

· Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., gloves, safety shoes).
