J Michael Consulting  of Roswell, GA is actively looking to hire a full-time Software Application Tester / Trainer to work 100% remote.

Salary based on experience level and not representative of a total compensation package : $75,000 to $100,000 per year. Pay Scale Details :

  • Minimum - needs guidance / training to perform any essential responsibility.
  • Middle - experienced and fully competent in all essential responsibilities.
  • Maximum - higher experience than expected for the essential responsibilities.

A SOFTWARE APPLICATION TESTER / TRAINER ROLE

As a 100% work from home Software Application Tester / Trainer , you will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and related training activities for a high-impact system implementation project. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers, clients, and technical teams to ensure quality through rigorous testing and deliver effective end-user training. You will be responsible for conducting end-to-end UAT, documenting results, troubleshooting issues, and helping users adopt the new solution seamlessly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

UAT Ownership

  • Plan, execute, and manage all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Develop and execute test scripts that align with client requirements and industry standards
  • Document test cases, test results, and defects thoroughly
  • Provide actionable feedback to the implementation team and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users, translating technical concepts into user-friendly insights
  • Work with project managers and clients to align testing activities with project timelines and goals
  • Monitor test results to identify trends and areas for improvement, escalating issues as needed
  • Data Integrity & Quality

  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate data quality and integration workflows
  • Proactively identify and address potential data integrity issues
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to testing and system performance
  • Training Development & Delivery

  • Create and update end-user training materials, such as guides, presentations, and videos
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to diverse audiences to ensure effective adoption of the new system
  • Gather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve training resources
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with industry best practices in software testing and training methodologies
  • Identify opportunities to streamline UAT processes and enhance training strategies
  • Provide thought leadership and share innovative ideas for product or process enhancements
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (or finishing Bachelor's degree) in Informatics, Health IT, or a related technical / scientific field (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be located in the United States or a U.S. Territory due to project requirements. A firewall restriction prevents work outside the U.S. or through VPN access
  • Proven experience in software testing, user acceptance testing, or quality assurance (laboratory, healthcare, or public health setting preferred)
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS or LIMS) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations is beneficial
  • Experience in executing test scripts and documenting test results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop user-friendly training materials (guides, presentations, videos)
  • Strong facilitation skills for delivering effective training to diverse audiences
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience working with federal, state, or local public health agencies or laboratories is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

    JMC is a government contractor and requires a full Federal background check on all employees. Any offer made will be contingent on a successful background check being completed.

    Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
