About the Role :
We are seeking a Buyer to join a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. The role focuses on managing supply chains, purchasing materials, and driving cost-saving initiatives. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-tech environment, ensuring seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee supply chains for various customer programs in collaboration with Program Management.
Purchase materials and services to meet production requirements.
Monitor and manage purchase orders, expedite shortages, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and negotiate volume and cash discounts with vendors.
Resolve non-conforming material issues and manage excess materials to meet goals.
Coordinate production schedules and inventory availability across departments.
Take on special projects and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications :
3-6 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
Proficiency in MRP / ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
