Position Summary
The Corporate Treasury Manager oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to support the organization’s financial needs. This role includes cash reporting and forecasting, managing bank relationships, and implementing treasury policies and internal controls. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to continuous process improvements within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with banking partners to ensure accurate service delivery, favorable interest rates, and optimized service charges.
- Enhance and monitor internal controls and processes to maintain compliance with regulations such as SOX 404.
- Manage cross-currency transactions and related treasury operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead treasury initiatives, including system implementations and internal / external bank projects.
- Oversee accurate documentation and record-keeping for banking services.
- Analyze and validate bank charges, proposing changes as needed.
- Address and resolve critical banking issues or errors in a timely manner.
- Conduct cash flow analysis, complete journal entries, and manage payment processes.
- Supervise accounts payable workflows, including user setup, system security, and approvals.
- Implement fraud prevention and monitoring measures in partnership with IT Security.
- Support internal and external audits, including responding to inquiries and maintaining treasury narratives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, providing coaching and conducting performance evaluations.
