Human Resources Coordinator
Pay Rate : $20-24 / hr, depending on experience
Location : Wethersfield, CT (on-site)
Employment Type : Contract to hire
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and efficient HR professional with onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HR systems, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain employee files (both paper and electronic)
Coordinate, participate in, and support new colleague orientation, including event coordination, technology setup, and check-ins
Create and update standard orientation and onboarding materials
Serve as the main point of contact for routine questions related to orientation, onboarding, employee files, and compliance
Coordinate and verify clearance for new employees with Talent Acquisition and confirm orientation participation
Follow up on outstanding onboarding requirements, working closely with Talent Acquisition, field HR, and external partners
Generate and report weekly compliance files as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
1 years of onboarding experience required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication
Excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and ability to meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
