Lead Developer – Microsoft Power
Our client is seeking a lead developer to design, develop, and maintain the organizations Microsoft Power Platform tools with a strong focus on Power BI. If you are well versed with the MS Power Platform, have a strong desire for continuous improvement / learning, and want to join a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.
Hybrid schedule, office located in the Bloomfield / Granby, CT area
Base salary range $90,000 - $110,000 yearly bonus and benefits
Duties and Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain the organizations Microsoft Power Platform tools including, BI, Automate, Power Apps, and Power Page
Spearhead the creation and deployment of Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models for internal stakeholders
Manage, secure, and maintain the Power BI on prem environments and service
Develop and maintain all Power Platform tools to help automate the business, integrate with data sources and other systems, and improve user experience
Provide technical guidance on the Power Platform to internal users and the development team, and stay up to date on current industry trends / best practices Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant real world experience
Certifications in Power BI or other Power Tools desired
5 years of experience managing Power BI solutions (data visualization, DAX, data modeling)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing and managing Power Platform Tools
Prior experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL databases, Data Lakes, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, C#, other programming languages desired
Must be collaborative and self-driven with the desire to continue learning new technologies
