J. Morrissey & Co. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory management, and a small team for a local client.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management with leadership responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient computer skills for inventory and record-keeping systems.
Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff in daily operations.
Oversee picking, unloading, labeling, and storing materials.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of incoming shipments; address and resolve discrepancies.
Manage inventory controls and maintain clerical records for verification of shipments.
Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment.
Organize materials within the warehouse and ensure a clean, safe environment.
Train new employees and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. INDA
