Ranch Hand/Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join us as a Ranch Hand. Ranch Hand will play a crucial role in daily operations of our ranch. Employee is offered health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days of employment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Hourly Pay is dependent on experience and is revaluated after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Assist with fence repair and maintenance.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of machinery, property, and other ranch facilities.
• Ability to report any issues to your supervisor.
• Operate and maintain ranch equipment and machinery, including tractors, shredder, and power tools.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks such as fencing, gardening, and equipment repair.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient ranch operations.
• Assists with upkeep of the property including fence maintenance, cutting trees, and mowing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• *MUST have a valid driver’s license.
• *MUST be able to maintain good attendance.
• *MUST have the ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
• *MUST be able to lift 50 pounds, approximately 5 times a day.
• *MUST be able to pass a drug screening and a background check.
• *MUST be able to operate a tractor.
• Previous experience working on a ranch or farm is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of animal care and handling.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
