The ideal candidate will oversee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and all other core HR functions in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Full-Cycle HR Management
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding, ensuring seamless transitions at each stage.
- Coordinate new hire orientation programs, facilitating a smooth introduction to company culture, values, and policies.
- Track and manage employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and job reclassifications, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, ensuring data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal regulations (e.g., I-9, EEO).
- Develop and implement policy updates to align with evolving business needs and legal requirements, promoting consistent and transparent HR practices.
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, and retention rates, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead the offboarding process, including exit interviews, final documentation, and knowledge transfer to gather feedback and maintain a positive company image.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, particularly for .
- Utilize diverse sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals, partnerships with educational institutions) to broaden the candidate pool.
- Collaborate with department heads to define job requirements and create job descriptions that align with operational needs.
- Implement and oversee employee training and development programs, including cross-training, mentorship, and leadership development to cultivate a versatile workforce.
- Establish clear career paths and succession plans, promoting internal mobility and retention of high-potential employees.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., cost per hire, time-to-fill) to optimize hiring strategies and align them with business objectives.
HR Infrastructure & Culture Building
- Play a pivotal role in creating a world-class HR function, shaping policies and processes that support a high-performance culture.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, team-building events, and feedback mechanisms, promoting a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with broader organizational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and employee satisfaction.
- Implement communication channels (e.g., newsletters, town halls, digital platforms) to keep employees informed and encourage transparent dialogue.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Lead the performance review process, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for each role, and provide guidance to managers on best practices.
- Handle employee relations matters, such as conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, offering proactive solutions and support.
- Provide coaching and feedback to supervisors on effective performance management techniques, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Conduct regular pulse checks and stay attuned to employee morale, proactively addressing issues before they escalate.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Manage compensation structures, benchmark salary ranges, and recommend adjustments to remain competitive in the market.
- Administer employee benefits programs, conducting annual enrollment and continuously improving offerings to meet workforce needs.
- Analyze benefits utilization and budget implications, providing insights to senior management for future planning.
- Evaluate incentive and bonus programs, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and a high-performance culture.
- Coordinate with finance and external vendors to maintain accurate records and timely processing of benefits-related transactions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- Experience: 10 years of HR experience, with 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Knowledge of injection molding or similar manufacturing operations is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with labor law compliance and relevant HR regulations.
