Lawn Maintenance Worker

Duties

• Grass Trimming(Weed-Whacking), Blowing and Bagging Leaves, Edging, Hedging(Bush Trimming), Push Mowing, Small Tree/Crape Myrtle Branch Cutting(Chain Saw). Duration would be a minimum of 3-4 months May '25 - Aug '25, with possible extensions through Nov '25 & Mar '26 - May'26
• Additional Possible Work: Handyman work around owner's home during the off season Dec '25 - Feb'26. Tasks would be wide ranging home and yard repairs.
• Qualifications
• Ability to quickly start hand power equipment(Stihl) from cold or hot state and refill with proper fuel.
• Ability to change out Grass Trimmer spools(trim line reload) and Edger blades.
• Ability to chain saw cut small tree branches, Crape Myrtle branches
• Ability load hand load bags of leaves and small branches onto a truck or trailer.
• Ability to hedge shrubs/bushes in round or rectangular shapes.
• Handyman Skills Helpful: Minor plumbing, crawlspace insulation repair, minor painting, significant deck carpentry repair, scrap growth clearing, minot cemented brick/block masonry, minor vinyl siding replacement, kitchen cabinet & drawer repair.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $12.75 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

• Mobile, AL 36695: Relocate before starting work (Required)
