What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drivers Helper (Berks Division - Reading, PA) position at J.P. Mascaro & Sons?
Our Berks Division is looking for reliable and dependable Driver Helpers to play a critical role on the solid waste collection team. The position requires you to ride on the back of a trash truck and perform several essential roles, such as assisting the driver to safely navigate the truck and collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.
Additional earnings are available through extra work and solo routes
Compensation:
- $130.00 per day when all incentive-based criteria has been met
- $50.00 per week attendance bonus
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
• Requires constant lifting, walking and climbing onto and off of truck.
• Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion
