What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Laborer position at J.P. Noonan Transportation?
We are looking for someone, part-time, to help perform a wide array of different small construction projects including landscaping construction for multiple properties throughout the Plymouth and Barnstable counties. We are seeking highly motivated & skilled machine operators & construction/maintenance laborers, to join our team. We offer top wages, year-round work, and top-of-the-line industry equipment, tools, trucks and the list goes on.
Job Description:
- Part-Time / Flexible days of the week and hours
- $24.00 per hour
- Weekly pay
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Help prepare and maintain work site and properties
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Grounds keeping
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Provide upkeep of a variety of property features including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other ground features such as industrial lot maintenance
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, when needed
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Hydraulic license required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Class A or B license is a plus
- General mechanical knowledge
- Self-motivated, hard-working, dependable, and responsible
- Experience in land and property construction
- Experience in operating heavy machinery such as: skid steers, excavator, dump trucks, trucks with trailers
