Construction Superintendent

Construction Supervisor

Ashland, NH/Columbia, NH/Dummer, NH/Berlin, NH

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience successfully completing a variety of construction projects.

Candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to:

• Communicate with Project Managers to plan, organize, and control projects; supervise sub-contractors and crew members
• Read and analyze blueprints and recommend changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency
• Maintain and submit accurate daily reports in a timely manner
• Maintain an accurate record of construction employee attendance using time tracking applications
• Track and report installed contract quantities using Microsoft Excel
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and following and enforcing standards and procedures
• Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Demonstrate excellent organization, planning and problem solving skills to prioritize and balance work
• Effectively lead others in the completion of a schedule
• Use computers to communicate by email using Microsoft Outlook, manipulate spreadsheets, complete daily reports and approve payroll hours for crew members
• Have a working knowledge of construction tools and equipment, including GPS equipment and grade control systems
• The ability to work alongside crew members, when necessary, to meet project goals
