The Welder performs skilled welding functions using a MIG welder with hard wire feed, in the manufacturing of trailers

Reads and follows CAD drawings and Process InstructionsAssemble and welds parts and sub-assemblies to approved specifications using approved welding equipmentInspects own work for accuracy and completion before signing process verification form.Safely and properly operates all assigned equipment.Always adheres to the company’s processes and procedures.Respects and safeguards the confidentiality of Company information.Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the individual or others.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES :
Ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions.Ability to layout and assemble parts / sub-assemblies accurately.Ability to weld with consistent penetration and appearance.Ability to solve problems and provide solutions.Ability to read tape measure.Knowledge of safe handling practices.Must have good eyesight with or without correction.PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Environmental temperatures vary with weather conditions, however welding operations are in an indoor environment.Moderate levels of noise.Variations in air quality from welding and grinding.Exposure to light created from welding flash.May work in a confined area.EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.A completed apprenticeship or formal training from a vocational school is desired.Prefer at least three years of previous experience.Able to pass a welding test conducted on sight at our manufacturing plant.
