J.R. Boehlke, Inc. is a landscape, asphalt, and snow contractor founded in 1996. The company works closely with commercial and residential property owners and managers throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
We are seeking Landscape Laborers to join our crews for summer 2025. The right individual for the role will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors, have high attention to detail and quality, and a positive attitude.
Job Responsibilities
Landscape Laborers will:
- Perform a variety of landscaping maintenance and construction duties for residential and commercial clients under direction of the Landscape Foreman.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to J.R. Boehlke’s location in Mequon.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Physically fit to perform job functions, including the ability to stand, lift, bend, walk, or carry objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teammates.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record is preferred, with a valid Commercial Drivers License a strong plus.
- Prior heavy equipment operation experience including skidsteers or excavators is a strong plus.
