Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics and repair. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Experience in front wheel alignment is a must.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Perform automotive repairs including engine work, alignments, and body repairs.
• Maintain and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Execute vehicle front-end alignment and suspension work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced.

Skills

• Proficiency in front-end alignment and suspension work.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including auto body repair and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software for troubleshooting issues effectively.
• Familiarity with all gas and diesel vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
