Salary: $35 to $45
Summary
Responsible for design development and construction documents under the direction of a Technical Leader. Assist and work with team in design development and construction documents of large to medium size projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of three (6) years experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of structural engineering practice desired
Communication and Collaboration
- Listen and communicate effectively and professionally.
- Asks questions about assignments when unclear.
- Has working knowledge and understanding for use of JRMA equipment and software.
- Ability to apprise supervisor of work status.
- Coordinate project issues with team members and consultants for conflicts and discrepancies.
Supervision and Delegation
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor.
- Always be respectful of JRMA staff.
- Ability to delegate assignments to support staff.
- Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants and vendors.
Documentation
- Be proficient with JRMAs documentation and office practice systems.
- Ensure that the documents meet JRMA and client standards and protocols.
- Ability to correspond effectively with consultants for cad files and minor directives.
Business Development
- Always be professional and respectful in interactions with clients and consultants.
- Assist in preparation for interviews and proposals.
Management
- Demonstrate motivation in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
- Set goals, prioritize and plan work activities for self-management and use time efficiently.
- Estimate hours for assigned tasks and finish tasks within agreed upon budget hours for the task.
Design
- Follow the design intent of graphic and verbal directions during all phases of project.
- Proficient in the documentation of project design in REVIT such as three dimensional modeling, product or material research.
Technical
- Demonstrate AutoCAD competency in advance commands of editing requirements, drawings set up for any type of project, management and use of all AutoCAD files and resolution of any related AutoCAD issues on JRMA AutoCAD platform.
- Have advanced knowledge of REVIT, and the ability to generate base model and manipulation/editing required for the project in coordination with Technical Leader.
- Participate in the development of working drawings, and help fulfill requirements/deliverables of SD, DD, and CD phases.
- Understand technical terminology of the building and construction industry.
