The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage gift shop staff including hiring, training, scheduling and supervising
- Schedules all cashiers breaks and lunches on assigned shift to ensure uninterrupted service
- Ensure the gift shop has adequate inventory and that it is properly displayed
- Ensure customers are greeted warmly, offered assistance and provided with excellent customer service
- Must be knowledgeable about the products sold and answer questions related to them
- Responsible for operations that are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
- Manage finances including maintaining accurate records
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to read
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred
- Previous supervision in a retail environment preferred
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
