Financial Administrator Position
At J.S.Rae LLC, we’re looking for a Financial Administrator to join our team and help us keep on top of our finances. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping and will be able to handle a variety of tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. He or she will be detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on accuracy. The financial administrator will be responsible for maintaining financial records for the company and will report to the controller.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable balances with bank statements or other records to ensure that all transactions have been recorded accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare year-end working papers for the accountant.
Assist front office staff with a variety of activities including billing customers, timesheet tracking, assist front office for employee support.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- 5 years of proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
