Our client, a top-tier Big Law firm, is seeking several highly skilled and fluent Japanese-speaking Staff Attorneys to join their team. A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting legal teams with document review, privilege analysis, deposition preparation, and other critical functions related to complex international litigations, required.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of legal experience in document review, litigation support, or related areas. Strong proficiency in Relativity and other legal research tools. Must have fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) which is essential to this role; Ability to work remotely while maintaining consistent communication and collaboration with the team required; Ability and willingness to travel to Japan on occasion to support firm activities and client matters as needed.
NY State Bar Admission in good standing required, as is a minimum 3.0 GPA from a recognized law school. Compensation includes a salary of 115K, plus a robust benefits package and a guaranteed year-end bonus. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail, required. Experience in litigation or regulatory matters, particularly those involving international clients. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required.
