As we begin 2025, many of our Big Law and midsized client firms are seeking 5th or 6th-year Associates to join their Business Services teams. These exciting opportunities are tailored for individuals with strong legal backgrounds who are eager to contribute to areas such as practice support, business development, client engagement, legal personnel management, practice development and the entire HR silo.
You can expect to collaborate with partners and practice leaders to strategize and implement initiatives that enhance practice group efficiency and client service delivery; Develop and execute strategies to expand client relationships, secure new business, and enhance the firms market presence; Serve as a liaison between practice groups and clients; Collaborate with HR and legal personnel teams to support attorney recruiting, onboarding, retention, and professional development initiatives; Work closely with firm leadership, marketing, and operations teams to align business services with broader organizational goals.
Candidates must possess superior writing abilities, excellent presentation skills, and a winning demeanor to build rapport with, and effectively support, the firm's partners and clients. JD from a top tier law school with 5-6 years of experience practicing law in a Big Law firm, preferably in a Corporate Practice Group, is required. Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to draft polished, persuasive materials for internal and external audiences; Excellent presentation skills, with the confidence to address senior partners and clients effectively. A polished, professional demeanor that reflects the firms commitment to excellence is required.
Compensation includes salary dependent on specific business service silo experience (170K-220K ) plus bonus, full benefits, and a hybrid work environment while playing a pivotal role in shaping the firms business services and client-facing strategies.
