Description
SUMMARY :
Responsible for verifying products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet requirements. Duties include measuring products compared to their intended specifications, verifying fit, form, function, and identifying defects. Check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. Follow and ensure proper quality procedures are being adhere throughout the factory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approve or reject incoming raw materials with respect to quality standards
- Approve or reject finished product with respect to quality standards
- Check samples using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
- Maintain testing and inspection records
- Complete required internal documents when needed (NCR / SQI)
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe, well-maintained and calibrated.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Quality management

REQUIREMENTS
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
1. Eye protection is required in production areas.
2. Ability to lift 30lb
3. Subject to noise, odors common to a manufacturing environment.
