Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of patient charts and documentation for upcoming appointments.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and enhance overall care delivery.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility for services.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and administrative processes related to healthcare.
