Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled highly trained Grader Machine Operator able to operate a 14H Cat Grader, to join our dynamic team in Porterville, CA. The Grader Machine Operator will be primarily responsible for operating various heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, loaders, and dozers, in a safe and effective manner. This role involves tasks related to the demolition and removal of orchard trees and debris. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and dozers.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Collaborate closely with the crew to ensure efficient removal of orchards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete tasks within given deadlines and to the specified standards.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to operate other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- High attention to safety standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
