Dedicated local Class A driving position

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently between two warehouses in Marion, IN. The Truck Driver will ensure that all loads are properly secured and unloaded at their destination while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely shuttle trailers between designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Manage cargo securement to prevent damage during transport.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
• Proven experience in truck driving
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for different types of freight.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
• at least 2 years of driving experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
