We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the dispatch team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of freight, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of transportation management processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers, customers, and other departments to optimize routes and schedules.
• Utilize dispatch software and other tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor freight movement using GPS technology to ensure compliance with delivery timelines.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Train and mentor dispatch staff on best practices in transportation management and customer service.
• Maintain records of shipments, including data entry into relevant systems.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies regarding transportation operations.
