Greenhouse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Works in all areas of the greenhouse as needed
• Assists with the planting and maintenance of plant products within the department
• Assist with plant maintenance projects
• Assists with unloading plant deliveries
• Assists with stocking shipping house
• Rotating weekend shift (to water plants) every 6 weeks

Experience

• Self-motivated and detail-orientated
• Knowledge with safety hazards
• Willing/able to get pesticide applicators license
• Willing/able to become forklift certified and operate a bobcat as needed
• Able to sit, squat, stand, bend, and reach for periods of time
• Able to life 20 - 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills
• Willing/able to work in all weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
